About this Group
This group includes the senior library staff responsible for technical
services in the CIC libraries. The group meets twice a year at
conferences of the American Library Association.
The Technical Services Directors, along with the complementary
group, the Public Services Directors, have management responsibilities
over the traditional core functions of research libraries. This
group includes the senior staff responsible for the direction
and manangement of technical services in the CIC libraries. The
Technical Services Directors meet twice a year at conferences
of the American Library Association to address issues related
to patron services and resource sharing.
