Call for Proposals: Center for Ethnic Studies and the Arts (CESA) -- Univ of Iowa 9/18-20/2008
CESA seeks proposals for participating in a two and a half day workshop for junior tenure-track faculty on their research in progress on "Women of Color in Popular Culture." Workshop participants are also CESA Junior Fellows for Fall Semester 2008 and are part of a collaboratieve network of scholars.

CIC-AAS Faculty Manuscript Workshop
This workshop will directly help to develop publication venues for Asian American Studies scholars. Each workshop brings together faculty authors and readers for an extended and detailed discussion of a book-length project. If you or a colleague are interested in participating, please send complete contact information and a brief (1 – 3 page) description of the project to Josephine Lee at jolee@umn.edu.
